3D Printer Demonstration Object

I designed this object using SOLIDWORKS in order to demonstrate the capabilities of a powder bed fusion metal 3D printer at my university. The goal was to demonstrate overhang, resolution, and surface finish. It was initially printed using PLA on a Prusa Mini as a proof of concept. I attempted to perform maintenence on the metal 3D printer myself, but it was eventually determined that a specialist would be required to get the machine operational.
