I’m working on a device to put my parking pass up and down. I can’t leave it hanging from my rearview mirror while I’m driving because it significantly obstructs my field of view. But sometimes I forget to put it back when I’m parked and I get a ticket. I’m going to use a microcontroller and a GPS module to control the movement. I’m currently in the process of finishing this design and deciding exactly what components to purchase. In this video I have the servo motor connected to an ESP32 microcontroller and a button to test the setup.
